The viking age comes alive!
Ribe Viking Centre makes the Viking Age come alive - you can meet the craftsmen from the Viking Age work and taste the meals from then. At the moment a town environment from the year 825 is being reconstructed, and you can watch the falconer’s air show. Also you can tackle the production of knobs, shooting with longbow and baking of bread.Visit Denmarks greatest viking market the first weekend in May each year.

Museet Ribes Vikinger

The history of Ribe and Denmark!
 The museum Ribes Vikinger (The Vikings of Ribe) reveals the story of the Viking Age and the Middle Age of Ribe, - something which is normally hidden under the streets of Ribe. The museum has thousands of findings and a reconstruction of a market place in full size, where you can see, smell and feel, how everyday life was like in the year 800.
