The history of Ribe goes more than 1300 years back and the vikinge age therefore plays an important role in Ribe. Visit both the Muesum Ribes Vikinger and the Ribe VikingeCentre.

The Wadden Sea is one of the most important wetlands in the world. The tide moves 1,000,000,000 m3 of water back and forth through the depths twice a day. Nowhere else you will find as many migratory birds, as in this area, spring as well as autumn. Experience Black Sun, go on an oyster trip or visit the Wadden Sea Center. Beautiful West Coast beaches.

Denmark's largest playground, Riplay. Located just 2 km from Ribe Byferie Resort. The playground has 20 slides, cable car, climbing towers, spinning tops, obstacle course, running track and much much more. Free admission and open every day.

The Ribe Art Museum shows Danish art including several masterpieces from the Danish Golden Age together with a beautiful selection of paintings with sights from Ribe. Several times a year Ribe Art Museum has special exhibitions with different themes.

Mandø is probably one of Denmark’s most peaceful islands, where you may visit the exhibition at the Mandø Centre - telling about Mandø and the Mandø house - or just enjoy the nature and its unique life of birds. Take a trip on the Mandø-bus.
